Frontline Policing
The backbone of operations. Response officers handling emergency calls, visible patrol, and day-to-day incidents across the city.
MO3 - Covert Policing Command
Provides specialist covert policing support and surveillance operations across the Metropolitan Police Service.
MO7 - Taskforce
Specialises in public order policing, managing large-scale disorder and counter-terrorism arrests, as well as forced entry operations.
MO8 - Roads & Transport Policing
Reduces serious injury and road deaths across London, covering traffic safety, road crime prevention, and commercial vehicle enforcement.
MO12 - Met Contact Centre
The communications and command hub for the Metropolitan Police - receiving emergency and non-emergency calls and coordinating deployment of resources across London.
MO19 - Specialist Firearms Command
Provides armed response across London with Authorised Firearms Officers, including counter-terrorism firearms units and tactical support to other divisions.
SO18 - Aviation Policing Command
Responsible for security and policing at London City Airport, including armed patrols, counter-terrorism measures, and emergency response.
SO15 - Counter Terrorism Command
Operates against terrorism threats at local, national, and international level, working with intelligence agencies to prevent and investigate terrorist activity.
